Hello Rick. Thanks so much for the education. On the subject of vocal harmony, just wondering if you've explored any of the 22 a cappella albums by my husband Jerry Lawson. Lead singer, arranger and producer of The Persuasions for 40 years. He also invented the genre known today as Contemporary A cappella. All the a cappella you hear today is thanks to Jerry paving the way. The only group in music history 40 years, all original members, on major labels with no entertainment attorney, no A-list booking agent after William Morris had no idea how to market them, no radio play except college and community stations, and most extraordinary no instruments. Traveled and recorded with Liza, Stevie, Joni, Lou Reed, Zappa ( who gave them their first recording contract) and so many others. Such a shame that more music lovers have never intersected with Jerry's creations. ( sadly there is now a group calling themselves The Persuasions and performing all of Jerry's arrangements and duping bookers, venues and record labels. If only their egos were not so needy they would be honest and be booked as a tribute group).... sincerely, Julie Lawson

I think that instead of "You Give Love A Bad Name" you could have put "Blaze Of Glory" by Jon Bon Jovi. That line guitar chords that brings him doesn't give you any idea that there's gonna be any slide guitar involved. You just kind of think that it is gonna be an alternate or demo version of "Wanted Dead Or Alive".
